Our Friend's Wedding
We went to a wedding this weekend in the middle of nowhere, Missouri. I couldn't help but think of you, Don & Ashia, as we drove by signs for "Missouri Hick BBQ" and the"Vacuum Museum." Thought you would appreciate it. Really, this is what gives the Midwest a bad name. The wedding itself was BEAUTIFUL. The colors were pink and purple -a combo I'd never seen before. The bridesmaids wore purple dresses with hot pink heels and carried pink gerbera daisies. So fitting for the bride (Our friend Amanda from BC). One of my favorite things about the reception was that they set up a Table Trivia Game. You had to match names of Places that were significant in the couple's life to the reason. The winning table was served dinner first. So clever and fun!
Kenny being goofy, of course. Raymond fell asleep so we got an hour or so of time together with friends. Such a great time! We are so happy for our friends, Amanda and Dan! Congrats!

Family Fun Day
This Sunday, Kenny, Raymond and I went to Eckert's Farm along with my friend Jessie and her kids. There was so much to do there and we had a great time! We went on a tractor-trailer ride to pick apples and pumpkins. We also went through a corn maze. There was a petting zoo, pony and camel rides, tricycle races, a huge parakeet cage where you could feed them, kettle corn, apple cider, hot chocolate, pig races, shows (Are you smarter than a Farmer?), a pumpkin canon, and some mechanical rides like the spinning apples and swings (I got to ride the swings with Jessie's daughter- I haven't done that since I was like 10 years old. It was super fun!) They also had a store with lots of yummy preserves, pumpkin and apple butters, etc. What a fun family outing!
This is the pumpkin Raymond picked out- not exactly the prettiest!
Carly and me!
The view of the city from the farm. I think Kenny enjoyed the drive there even better- it was beautiful. So was the sunset!
The whole gang!
